The Search

2016

Hi! I am Naya, before entering the tech world, I worked as an accountant for years. Despite enjoying crunching numbers, I felt like something was missing, and that I wasn't making a significant impact on the world. After much soul-searching, I realized that technology was the key to making the impact I was searching for. That's why I started funding startups in the tech space.

The hard part and its lessons

But, finding a technology partner who understood my needs: low budget, fast delivery, and flexibility was challenging. I ended up losing all my savings to unsuccessful products. Being an entrepreneur and a mom was also a challenging combination. Despite the setbacks, I didn't give up.

I found the perfect technical co-founder, Brian, who trusted me enough to join me on this journey. And we are fortunate to find an amazing team of developers and like-minded individuals who share our values and early clients that trusted in what we could offer.

How we work

Agile Engineering

We work in an agile way, which means we're like Mr. Fantastic - flexible, adaptable, and able to contort ourselves into any shape necessary to get the job done. Our team uses the Scrum methodology to stay organized and on track, kind of like a group of preschoolers playing a game of Red Light, Green Light. And just like those little ones, we move quickly, efficiently, and with lots of enthusiasm.

Design Thinking

We're problem-solvers with a twist, kind of like a group of mad scientists in a lab, mixing and matching ingredients until we come up with the perfect concoction. But instead of test tubes and beakers, we use empathy, observation, and creativity to understand our users and come up with innovative solutions. Think of us as the MacGyvers of design, using whatever tools we have at our disposal to save the day.
